Greenland

Many people have heard of the Sami of Finland and Northern Scandanavia and some even know a bit about Iceland, but I wonder how many people even give Greenland any thought? It was one of the first land masses I saw on a trip to Europe. People likely fly over it every day and never give it another thought so I am exploring any ties the country and people might have to my story.

Also interesting is the possible connection between Canada, the islands north of Canada, Labrador and, since some of my family was from there, connections to Newfoundland. Additionally, the area of Dorset in England and any relation it might have to the Dorset people.
