Serpent Goddesses

In the Minoan Snake Goddess, I see the shape of a tau/ankh. It is also reminiscent of the serpents wrapped around the arm of some Aphrodite statuary. The knot around her waist could be similar to Aphrodite’s girdle. The Cult of Isis later created a similar belt for her.
