Wolf Strap

The wolf strap is also known as the wolf’s girdle, it is said to assist a man in becoming a werewolf or to shapeshift into a wolf. However, if one looks at the words, they also spell “wolfs trap.” There is even a brand of South African wine known as The Wolftrap.

Strangely, it was the wolf girdle and baculum that hunters sought the wolves for.

But who is the true hunter and who is the prey?

There is also a wolf belt in Native American lore, but it is said to have signified a treaty between the Seven Nations. Some have questioned that story and so the mystery around the belt remains.
